JOB DESCRIPTION:
Watertown Savings Bank is currently seeking a detail-oriented Proof Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with proofing transactions as well as the Federal Reserve transactions. Also, the ability to research and correct any invalid postings, the ability to key and balance teller transactions and branch transactions, correct any imaging issues. The successful Proof Operator will be responsible for processing the incoming and outgoing Federal Reserve files and any other duties as deemed necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Consistent and reliable attendance.
- Keying and balancing Teller / branch transactions.
- Imaging issues.
- Process Fed file (incoming and outgoing)
- Processes Mobile Files (RDA, RDC, mRDC)
- Prints and mails account correction notices.
- Imaging error corrections.
- Answer group phone extension to assist employees with 4sight issues.
- RDA Mobile deposit setup & maintenance.
- RDA Customer assistance.
- Reviews mobile deposits for fraud activity.
- Filing of netteller ID applications.
- Approve Banno requests for Mobile Banking access.
- Answer Banno chats/messages related to Mobile Banking questions.
- Performs other related duties as required or directed.
- 4Sight EOD/SOD Processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a Bank or Financial institution setting is preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $17 - $19.50 PER HOUR
WORK SCHEDULE:
Candidate must be available to work a rotating schedule. The hours of this job are not restricted to the hours listed in this job description.
- Week 1: 8-4:30
- Week 2: M-W 8-4:30 & Th-F 8:30-5:15
- Week 3: 9-6

- May occasionally need to travel to a branch to repair 4Sight scanners and other equipment.
Physical Demands:
Position requires sedentary to light physical demands. Employee may exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Daily movement includes, but is not limited to holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands.
